Strike at Student Transportation Services

Your Support is Needed!

The members of the Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR/OSSTF) have attempted to negotiate a collective agreement since September 2012. Their employer refuses to negotiate a fair and unfettered deal. On Monday June 16th, the members of STSWR/OSSTF will be on strike!

The ten members of STSWR/OSSTF are responsible for planning, implementing, communicating and monitoring of the transportation of over 30,000 students in Waterloo Region. These members also coordinate the Standing Safety and Bus Patrol programs, and participate in events which highlight student transportation safety, such as School Bus Safety Week, First Rider program and School Bus Driver Professional Development Day.

Please join us in support at:

from 7:30-5:00 daily

No support from this school bus driver. I have had many frustration over the incompetence at STSWR to make up some sensible and safe route for us. If I see improvement in level of professionalism, you might get my support. Thumbs down!
